Vixen is having headaches again, snidey comments are being 'typed', which lets face it, is more the sort of thing which that MAC would come out with, not the perfect Vixen tongue

So Vixen is catching trains into the middle or no where, which are breaking down, they are not Veegan friendly, and this quite understandably is giving her headaches, so if it were me, I would take Ibooprofen, before food, and then two hours later top it up with just one Co-codamol, it is no use taking pain killers after you have eaten, because they cannot get into your system fast, because food is in the way in your stomach, and last year when I tore a fancy sounding ligament in my groin, which HURT I explained a length on how to control such pain ....

Just remember that you need to get the pain killer from the pill into your bloodstream, and it gets there via your stomach.

can't take co-codamol... feeling fine this morning, thanks for your concern my dear old friend... we were on our way back from bonny Scotland and that numpty crashed his lorry on a bridge between Lancaster and Preston and good ol Virgin trains had to stop in the middle of nowhere while the lorry was removed from the bridge in case it fell on the train, so all's good...

My tip for getting pain killers into your blood fast, put them in your mouth and crunch them into a fine paste, this reduces the breaking down process and also putting the crunched up paste under your tongue, that is the fastest way into the blud streeeem,

This is a Tom's tip and not a clinically proven method, Very Happy

I got it from a doctor who told me that , heart treatment drops are put under the tongue to get it in the blood stream fast, So that bit is true, whether or not crunching pain killers up helps, Its logical but, its only plumbers logic, Very Happy

Crunching it up and then washing it down your throat with water on a empty stomach, will be the quickest way to get it into your blood stream, the idea of putting a drug under your tongue, is so that your saliva glands are stimulated to produce saliva, which will wash it down your throat.

Not recommended for aspirin, which is an acid, sally silly ick acid Smile

also I don't know if I mentioned this before, I had tooth ache from June this year to September, I found crunching paracetamol into a paste then getting it into the bad tooth, gave almost instant relief, and paracetamol don't taste bad, ubaprofen taste bad and burn the throat,

One morning I woke with chest pains, took angina spray 3 times, didn't help, rang 999.
The bloke said 'do you take aspirin?'
'Yes'
'Have you taken one?'
'Yes'
'Take three more, make sure you crunch them'
'They're soluble'
'Doesn't matter, you need to chew them'
'Are you sure? '
'Yes, no water'

So I did and I'm still here.

It's a bugger, that Angina! It killed my Dad, he passed out with having no oxygen getting to his brain, through him not having it treated.
It killed a neighbour too, through him having it treated.
You can't win either way with it!
