I've sussed how the first 4 digits are made, but up to now

can't work out the last 2 digits.

I'm doing this while watching Rowan Atkinson solving two

murders as Inspector Maigret LOL.

5+3+2 = 151022
9+2+4 = 183652
8+6+3 = 482466
5+4+5 = 202541

THEN ;

7+2+5 = 143547

First 2 digits are 1st and 2nd numbers multiplied.

Second 2 digits are 1st and 3rd numbers multiplied.

Third 2 digits are 1st number multiplied by the sum of 2nd and 3rd numbers,

and then minus the middle number.

5+3+2 = 151022

5x3 =15

5x2=10

10+15=25 minus the middle number 3=22

Insert one letter into the centre of each word so that a longer word is formed. The added letters will give a seasonal word reading downwards. What is it?

MICE

SHUT

CHAT

HAVE

Answer

Six. The number of alphabetical places between the first and second letters of the name gives the number of presents.

In an upmarket Supermarket Ian and Isobel are buying Mince Pies, Heather and Uriah are buying Christmas Pudding and Rachael and Alan are buying Cranberry Sauce.

Are Emma and Oliver buying Brandy Butter or Petit Fours?

You deserve a mensa place Mr K

Petit Fours. The initials of the names match the second letters of the food items.

Early one morning a family travelled to a shopping centre at 35 mph.

After a day of Christmas shopping they returned, over exactly the same distance, at a crawl of only 14 mph.

What was their average speed over the entire journey?

The answer is not what I expected it to be scratch
