First topic message reminder :

These images show the sorry state of an historic Wigan church now blighted by long disuse and vandalism. St Joseph’s RC Church on Caroline Street closed its doors to worshippers more than 20 years ago and the new pictures reveal it has since deteriorated into a truly sad condition.

Gassey,it was Sister Marie that was over the little ones,I remember Sister Damien but for the life of me can't recall whether she took over Sister Marie or not,Sister Damien if my memory serves me well was good looking..Father Cronin must thought so too,I used to see them have a quiet chat at the back of St Josephs church..sat in the dark,that was after we'd been singing in the choir at Benediction...Father Cronin was a rum 'un to say the least.

Great thread. The girl second left front row looks familiar. I think her name is Lisa. Secon name will come to me when I'm not thinking
