The rules of the race were that the owner of the camel that crosses the finish line last wins the fortune. The wise man simply told them to switch camels. ^^^^^^

An athlete is able to jump FOREVER. However, everytime that she jumps she gets a bit more tired, and every jump goes 12 as far as her prior jump. Now, for her very first jump, she goes 12 of a foot.

On her second jump, she goes 14 of a foot, and so on and so forth. The beginning of her journey is shown in the gif below.

How many jumps does it take for her to travel 1 foot?

5/2 = 3

Therefore 10/2 = 6

Therefore 10 = 12

Therefore 1/3 of 12 = 4

Answer = 4

400

The second number is double the first, then minus 1.
The next number is double the previous then minus 2.
The next is double then minus 4.................
208 x 2 - 16 = 400

A woman shoots her husband — Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes — Finally, she hangs him — But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner — How can this be?

This is an unusual paragraph. I’m curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

I don't think It's about words, but about letters.

I can't see a single letter 'E' in that passage, and 'E' is the most commonly

used letter in the English language.

I may be wrong of course.

LOL, you're absolutely spot on with "brain's elsewhere" Laughing Brain teasers - Page 3 3530011831

My speech is typed up, and to a certain extent is pretty much memorised parrot fashion.

A little bit of humour to start with, and then some mushy stuff.

The humour centres round us being simple Wiganers with funny accents,

and they being posh Chesherites.

I'm only playing to an audience of 20 something, so should be a breeze.
