An easy one to start with.
A 5 letter word for INEXPENSIVE, followed by a 5 letter FISH.
   

2)  Terribly rude when theatre is off.  (5, 3, 7)  _ _ _ _ _      _ _ _      _ _ _ _ _ _ _
An anagram (terribly) of  RUDE  WHEN  THEATRE.
 

3)  Illegal racket, Private Investigator says “it’s fishy”. (6)   S _ _ _ _ _
A 4 letter crime RACKET, followed by the abbreviation for PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR.
       

4)  Recite “farewell, my lovely” from memory.  (7)  _ _       H _ _ _ _
How you might say “farewell, my lovely”.
Can you suss it?

How you might say CAT WATER in French..
