My avatar is a character from his books, and a Pratchett comment as my signature. If you ever want to see what his writing and humour are like, Start with a book called "Good Omens" It isn't a Discworld book but it is very funny. Mac is a fan of Pratchett as well, He recognised my avatar when I first joined WW, That's why he always calls me Esme, Its Weatherwax's first name. Laughing Laughing

I only found out very recently that weaterwax’s name was Esme,

I actually thought that Mac knew you personally LOL Embarassed Laughing

I find that I don’t read much these days,, my eyesight is not so good

‘close up’, and lack of patience and concentration that comes with

old age doesn’t help, but I'll try and look for some of his work.

Very well played to all tonight’s quizzers.

I’m posting the answers early as I’m having an early night.

I’m sorry but I won’t be able to mark anybody or reply after this post.

Tomorrow we travel to Bonnie Scotland, and our holiday cottage doesn’t have wi-fi,

so I will be incommunicado all next week.

For my quiz next Friday, the quizmaster will be the lovely weatherwax, who has

very kindly agreed to host the quiz.

See you in a week’s time.
