A very good evening fellow Rejects

Get your craniums cracking on these cruciverbal conundrums.

GOOD LUCK

An anagram of "logs in" (to play)., followed by a word for military action, giving a hopeless cause.

2) Heather after 12 months, gets young animal (8 ) Y _ _ _ L _ _ _
A period of 12 months followed by the usual cruciverbalists word for "heather".

3) Ardent male meeting me in outlet. (8 ) V _ _ _ _ _ _ T
The 2 letter word to describe a male followed by the "me" in the clue, inside a 4 letter word for an outlet.

4) See April disentangling trellis ((8 ) E _ _ _ L _ _ R
An anagram (disentangling) of "See April" to give a trellis.

5) Sensational story giving tingle to that female cockney. (8 ) T _ _ _ _ L _ R
A word to mean "tingle of excitement" followed by the dropped aitch of how a cockney would call a woman.

6) Charm one’s way in (8 ) E _ T __ _ _ E
Double definition, a word for "charm" and a word for "the way in".
Two words pronounced differently.

7) Football League initially probing Premier League club complaint? (3,3) M _ _ _ _ U

The ladies will love this clue.

If you're not first then you have another position, followed by an anagram (shed) of "tear".
