Have a go at these gongoozlers.

GOOD LUCK

WR CRYPTIC CROSSWORD CLUES 15-8-18  

1)  Frank in love with writer.  (4)    _ _ _ _
An easy one to start with.
The usual letter for LOVE, followed by a writing instrument.
         

2) Ghost seen in Hampton Maze.  (7)   _ _ _ _ _ _ _
An anagram (maze) of HAMPTON
 

3)  Vacant sty pens worried pet chicken.  (7 - 3)   S _ _ _ _ _ Y - C _ _
STY with no middle (vacant) with a a 5 letter word for WORRIED inside (pens).
Then a 3 letter pet.
CHICKEN in this case is a COWARD.
     

4)  Fine old instrument used to make glass.  (5)   F _ _ _ E
The abbreviation for FINE, followed by an old stringed instrument.
Glass in this case, is a drinking vessel.
