I know this isn't anything to do with the quiz, but I had been getting a lot of cramp in my hands, and had given up knitting. I thought I would have another go for a lady we got to know here. I was quite pleased at the result. What do you think? Its Newborn size.

Easily done with Arran Yarn. Laughing Laughing Laughing  Luckily, that one is done in supersoft baby yarn, and it takes a really good wash.

"How's your new machine. Is it all you expected"?

It arrived yesterday Mrs A, very pleased with it up to now.

It was built and shipped within two days, but has taken over 10 days to get here from China.

A Dell Inspiron 5770.

17.3" screen, one terrabyte hard drive, 8gig of RAM, Intel i5 chip, a really good spec.

Thankfully it set itself up with no problem, and has the latest 1803 version of the OS.

They were advertising a 16% reduction on price for a limited 72 hour period, so I nipped and saved myself £133,

so well made up with that.

I have been struggling tonight to load Microsoft Office from a CD, I suspect I need some software.

Mrs RMJ will get her office back tomorrow and Friday.

She loves her little cubby hole.

She sits in the computer chair with a footstool and wraps a shawl

around her and doesn't move all night.

It certainly is

Get this, I turned my old lappy on yesterday, and the bl**dy screen was back to normal!!!!!!,

no pink, how annoying is that!!!!!!!!

As Mrs RMJ pointed out, it would almost certainly 'go' again.

I've decided to keep my old machine upstairs and use it in bed watching catch up TV,

and my new machine downstairs in the dining room for my evenings activities.
