Snowdrops

Well, mih snowdrops are out, but they are rather anemic, small and spindly. Is that a result of not having had frost, I know some plants need frost in their dormant phase?

What were they like the year before? Sometimes that can happen if they are not planted deep enough, Grape Hyacinths are the same. It could be the lack of frost or perhaps the bulbs are a little waterlogged.
