Worsley Hall Community Allotments, 126a Poplar Ave, Worsley Hall, Wigan WN5 9NU

A programme of bee keeping and hive building courses, volunteer sessions based around the apiary and opportunities to improve areas in Worsley Hall for our pollinators.
 
SUMMER


6 Week Bee Keeping Course 
1st set of 6 course sessions run from 1st June - 6th July / 2nd set run from 20th July - 24th Aug
Each course session will take place on a Mon Evening, 6pm-8pm
 
Practical Sessions
Volunteer/practical sessions open to all, working on the practical aspects of keeping bees.
These will run every Thursday 10am - 12pm, from June until October.
 
WINTER
Come Oct, the bees are safely tucked up for winter, & a programme of hive building begins.
It will look at building mainly top bar hives and nucs and possibly other types of hives.
Open to all.

I wasn't around when you posted about the bees Jo anne so I missed ^^^^ that. In Oslo they have built a 'Highway For Bees' Yaaaay!
