My mum used to save up her used tea bags then soak them in water, then used it to water her plants. Anyone else heard of this. Then they went on the compost heap Waste not want not was our family saying. Very Happy

I heard that tea bags are bleached and so I stopped using them, saying that I drink tea from bags so seems daft not to.

Years ago, when there were no bags my mum did the same with Tea leaves. Clipper do unbleached T Bags. I keep a box for my daughter when she visits. For health reasons she wont touch bleached t bags.
