Is no more. Keith has sold it. The new owners, Indian types, are turning it into flats and a shop.

They've done the same with the Belle Green Pub, and left it half done destroying the original features. I'm told it's accommodating a few foreign types that don't seem to set foot outside.

It's the new junctions fault, because folk can't cross road to get to pub, because cars are crashing all over the place
Pub wouldn't be closing if they had left roundabout there

there's a hint in truth there Sir Bob, also Tomplum.co.uk won't go out to small jobs anymore, Its not worth my while, it takes 7 mins on a regular basis to just get to the junction,
BTW, what's happening with the Sir Bob link rode, ???

The link road as been shelved indefinitely, because tfgm are using all the devolution money for road projects in Manchester, inclooding a new tram line to the Trafford Centre

not a good place for a shop, there's Sainsburys, asda,B+M and Tesco all within walking distance, and there's not much parking for flats either, Still I s'pose he knows what he's doing,

Was talking about it today, the shop will fail, then it will be turned into more flats. There is a bit of parking round the back, and I presume he thinks some tenants could park at the front.

Sainsburys, etc will all have to comply with Sunday trading laws because of floor space. He won't, and that's when they'll make the most of it.

Aye, Gassey. Belle Green is half gutted, The Bush is an Indian (up for sale now) and the Oak Tree is just about open still.
