Did you clock the to sets of temp lights either side of the little roundabout on poolstock Tomp?
Took two days to put about a metre of tarmac down.

Now on the A49 link road deep cuttings are being dug for the foundations to the bridge over the canal, they have moved tons of muck on both sides but with the fence there, I can't get any good shots, perhaps caddy can get some of the work done,

Good report Tom
Yoo weren't crossing Poolstock Brook, yoo were crossing Smithy Brook and if you want to have a look at Poolstock Brook, head over to Parsons Meadow and in between Parsons Meadow and the River Douglas, you will travel through an enchanted forrest and in the middle of that forrest, there is a bridge over Poolstock Brook, from which yoo can see Poolstock Brook flowing into Smithy Brook and that in turn flows into the River Douglas, a short distance downstream

Oh no, Tom, surely you can’t be thwarted! Could our roving reporter not get a press pass to see behind the boards?

Be careful, Mester Tom, VERY CAREFUL (Oooohhhh, get me using block capitals mid sentence), bad things can happen if you try to pry.
Here's one of many accounts of what can happen
I was walking past a tall wooden fence the other day, you know the kind you see outside a building site. As I walked along beside it I heard chanting coming from behind the fence further up... they were chanting numbers, or rather just one number.
"Thirteen, thirteen, thirteen, thirteen, ..." they excitedly chanted. It sounded like a small crowd, young and old; men, women and children. All of them saying the same number over and over.
As I approached I saw a small hole in the fence just big enough to look through. The hole was right where the sound appeared to be originating from.
So, with the crowd continuing to chant "... thirteen, thirteen, thirteen, thirteen" and it seeming to become more intense as I leaned down to place my eye at the hole and work out what was happening in there.
Just as I put my eye to the hole a small finger like that of a child poked me in the eye and the crowd stared cheered loudly and started chanting again..
"Fourteen, fourteen, fourteen..."

Oh I do hope he does not, I have been instructed to remove any head that pokes through the fence and hide the body down one of the deep excavations. I am looking forward to it immensely, but I would hate Mr Tom to be my first victim.
