An Refuge Empty An Refuge

Sat Apr 05 2014, 12:35
Since I moved back home, I've been clearing out my Mum's shed and began painting it, I fancy it for an office - of course it depends on the spider population once I have finished .Laughing  flower

...also found one of these attached to the ceiling, I have left it where it is - as I think it makes an interesting feature. Can anyone guess what it is?

Yeah I think so, none were about whilst I was painting.  I had one same size in the shed on my last allotment when I first took it over.  They are like an little work of art. Very Happy

The outside has had two coats of Red Cedar, I used what was lying about in the shed as I couldn't afford the pastel Cuprinol Paint I wanted for a beach hut look (maybe next year) and the inside has had a coat of white emulsion, jury is out on what the final colour will be indoors. I am buying some roof felt as the edges are cracked and it could do with replacing. I am also in the process of constructing a bench. Oh and I puttied the windows. Very Happy

So, the inside is Magnolia and got a nice rug, its looking very cosy especially when my tea-lights are lit in the evening, all I need now is some sunshine and a bbq. Very Happy
