As I was scutchin' down the canal towpath this morning just opposite the Dry Dock, A man was standing there and as i passed he said " aw reet, ast seen Kevin lately ", So i pulled up and we are chatting about Kevin and I thinking , Is this Mester Corky ?, then dismissed that thought because, He would surly by now, in the double nought spy method of introductions, say, Would you like a pen ?, to which i would have replied, is it a good writer, Then we would be formally introduced, But he did't, This chap knew me because he was chatting about other stuff, canal wise and new road happenings so, I took a second guess and asked him, " Are you Mortimerbill? " I could tell by his reaction, he was not, So after another few minutes of chatting to him, I realized he is a canal and river trust volunteer and we have chatted many times at various places along the tow paths,

So once again the Scarlet Pimpernel evaded detection a case of mistaken identity 1073061766

I have not been down to the canal today Tom so you are barking up the wrong tree.

By the way, you didn't offer me a pen when we did meet!

yes, I do, Let me know when we meet again,
you say, " have you any Pens Tom"
I say " yes, they are good writers, here,,," and you get the much sort after tomplum pen, ( a good writer), The older tomplum pens are much more valuable now because, Moody Sue made them, Sadly, she will never make any more so, to those who have one of them, keep it, Crying or Very sad
