Safe Wigan
on Tue Jun 23 2020, 20:53
Wigan is statistically the safest area of Greater Manchester however being part of a large city region it has areas best to be avoided. The Norley Hall, Marsh Green and Worsley Hall estates in the west of the town can be intimidating with alot of youth trouble.
I can imagine the feverish typing to come.

Any 'statistics' related to 'Wigan' won't refer to Wigan, it'll include everywhere under Wigan Council. So, Leigh will come into the equation!
Wigan, itself, is safe as houses!

About 10 years back I was driving through Worsley Hall, there was a sofa on a mini roundabout with two blokes sitting on it drinking from cans.

There's nothing 'un-safe' about that.

Worked in Norley hall earlier, gardens are full of comfy 'garden furniture' with folk sat on them and drinking Skol.
