Its not open yet, I've just had a tootle down Poolstock Lane, ther was nothing going over the bridge at the Tippins, I turned up Worsley Mesnes, All the fencing for the cycle lane are still in place at the footbrige over the brook, At goose green there is a Traffic managment truck there with flashing lights, but the fences for the cycle lane are still in place, So they might be having a Dummy run end to end from Chapel lane to goose green, For my money, That is not open,
I'm sticking with Monday,

Been on it twice, and now I know why I can't hear it, and it is because the earth mound only ends at the point where Macs old flats take over as a sound barrier ...

Brilliant video Tom
When I was on it earlier on it was full of kids on bikes, sat on their bikes in the middle of the carriageways, as though they were in a cul-de-sac, then when I went down it again, a couple of hours later, the police were there, there was a police car parked up on the path which comes down to Poolstock Lane, and at the same time, two police cars were parked with two wheels on the central reservation, with their blue lights flashing, on either side of the canal bridge, and no sign of the police, so they were either dealing with an incident on the canal, or they were chasing kids
What has shocked me is the size of the thing, how long and how wide it is, and I wonder if the Dept of Transport asked for the land grab and road design, to provision for a possible conversion to a motorway at a later date ....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, It's flooded. who'd have thought that by building a new road on marsh land right next to a flash, that it would flood

according to Kevin, that is the lowest part of Wigan, so its bound to flood, they've dug deep covets at each side of the road, apparently not deep enough

Kevin doesn't know what day it is, never mind where the lowest part of Wigan is. That's not even in Wigan. If you want the lowest part of 'Wigan', you can have the River Douglas at Newtown, near Asda and the football stadium.
Anybody who takes the ramblings of a homeless, pissed-up tramp as factual truth, must be a loony!

so there are no aliens filling up from the unlicensed nuclear dump in the Woods, ok, I can live with that but,
If Newtown is the lowest part, it can't be Wigan, cos its called Newtown, So we'll let science decide, if you pour water out, it settles in the lowest part, and today, it settled in westwood, he might be drunken tramp but he knows, living at the bottom means there's only one way to go..
