I knew they were clever,seen them go back to their roost at Windsor Castle when told to..but I didn't know that they could mimic.

They also use tools. Magpies can too, as can Blackbirds. I found one using a socket set when I was walking through fields in over wrightington one day.

And did yoo know that when a Corvid bird is sitting on a railway line, and a train is approaching, the Corvid bird has the intelligence to hop or fly out of the way of the train, birds like Pheasants do not, and they get squashed by the train ....

No, I did't know of corvids so thanks for that, although I did know that all wildlife will shift when a train is coming, its a survival instinctive reaction , Like when yooo see a taxi driver blistering down Poolstock lane at night going to pick up a punter in Wigan, Its best to give him a wide berth
