My new telly's a belter but, getting sbtitles on is challenging , Vixen's help was much appreciated but, not all the apps will do it, they might do if i subscribed ?
Anyrode, I took broady's advice too and bought a pair of blooteeth earphones, I then find my new telly does not support blooteeth, All is not lost as i have found a device that will adapt any appliance , no matter how old to blooteeth and, I've ordred one only to find, it needs a aux output, my new telly has a optical output, apparently, there is no optical to aux adaptors, I've gotta get another gizzmo box to do that,
New stuff is so complicated these days,

Thanks Mac, I've decides to go blueteeth ear phones now, the subtitles are erratic and not always in sync , So i've ordered a optical audio to aux adaptor £11.98 so i can plug in a blueteeth adaptor at £7.20 and hoping that sorts it, With all the extra cables I need it will look like a snake pit at the back of the telly,

If yoo subscribe to Amazon Prime on the Rockoo, then you can add Discovery to it, the same way that I have added Britbox to my Amazon Prime on Rockoo

I have now tv cinema & entertainment at less than half price and netflix, trying to get to the point where I can ditch virgin completely and by going into subscription channels it saves a lot every month. my next move is to get now broadband but I need a phone line and got to find the time to have it installed. I've got prime on a free trial till 1st June and tbh there's not much on there....

I must admit that Amazon Prime Video is not has good as it was, but they doo have the odd one or two gems on there, but they are trying to make folk buy more and more content, separate to the Prime subscription, I myself have indulged in the plethora of UFO stuff they have on there, but now they are putting even that stuff on to their pay channels like Starz.
Lately they have released a lot of choo choo documentary's from the 1950s and 60s, but I can see a point where I may give up on the Prime Video, Netflix is better.
As regards Broadband I hear nothing only complaints about these days about Virgin, and the expense of it, but originally cable Broadband was the dogs bollocks

its a mine field, I like that Rakuten, I've watched some good films and the picture quality is good, As of yet I'm having to put up with the adverts on, I might go for a short contract with them,

That is one thing I like about the subscription channels, and that is no adverts, but they can be bloody expensive, Sky are scandalously high, and Amazon Prime have started showing live sporting events, as part of the Prime package inclooding Premiership Football.

I pay £30 a year for box sets, movies (new and old), podcasts, stand up shows, music shows, etc. I rarely turn it on.
If I want to see a series I use P2P.
