Which variety of rose has small white/pink flowers, resembling Primrose in their appearance?

Had a Google, but did not find answer.

Ragbru - do you mean a cultivated rose - all I could think of was a wild rose/dog rose - they come in all different colours though pale pink is the most common - they are everywhere at the moment. They don't really resemble cultivated roses - though their thorns are spectacular. Very Happy

Could be, VG.

I have a fence that gets climbed, and looking for effective barrier, to grow as climber against it.

Is North facing, about six foot high, though once they have topped the fence, they would get Southerly sun exposure.

Noticed that which I have described, and thought not as attractive as 'Danse de Feu', which I had been considering. (Have those in a different part of garden) but far more blooms, and denser growth, so may be a better barrier plant.

Already have those, but miscreants climb fence, and jump over them, so want to top the fence with trellis and thorny stuff.

The wild roses grow through woods near where I live and if they have a little support will grow tall, I have seen quite a few trees with wild roses growing up and around them, they are really beautiful.

Danse de Feu is one of the first cultivated roses I heard of, it is in one of my Grandad's old gardening books. Personally I would go with the wild rose as I prefer more natural (some would say boring) plants.

Think I will try both of the suggestions together: if both work, then will afford some variation, and if one is more suitable, I can progressively reduce tuther, until preferred option completely occupies the space.

Thanks for the information.
